    Hi ,

I have this on going issue with my AC , it goes away works just fine blows cold and every few months when I use the heat more often it randomly stops blowing cold . AC button on , on full blast blows the same air as if the heat was on . But then it fixes itself after a while does anyone have an idea what to check for or what needs to be done to fully resolve the issue ?

Also a few months back it was making a weird noise when the clutch would engage but that went away too .
Any clues or advice would be greatly appreciated .

Check freon level. Your system may need a recharge. If it's low enough to need a recharge it may have a leak in the system.
If system pressures are good then look at the blend door and blend door actuator. Honestly I've never heard of a blend door or the actuator going out on a 2nd gen but it's entirely possible.

Thank you ! The freon is ok something else is going on now the AC came back and I don't wanna switch to heat bc it will get stuck again and the AC will take a while to come back . I've heard it may be the actuator but I'm not quite sure where it's at or how to check it . Haven't heard much about it , but now I'll definitely look into the blend door or actuator that you mentioned , thank you !

Haven't looked into it yet . It's been blowing cold now so I haven't messed with it and been busy with all the holidays . Happy new year .
