Ok so i figured i would give everyone an update on my damage. I took my truck down to Novato Toyota on Tuesday. They said that they would inspect the damage, call AUL ( my extended provider) and then AUL would send out an adjuster and inspect it. So i get a call Tuesday afternoon saying that AUL is not going to cover any of it. And so i asked, what was the point of me paying an extra premium for the lift kit option? And they said that all that meant was that the would not deny a claim because the truck is lifted (not what i was told at time of purchase). So essentially i am bribing these guys to overlook the fact that i have a lift kit if anything does happen to go wrong. So long story short they got a rather large piece of my mind and i picked up my truck yesterday. I am also calling down there today and getting refunded for the extended warranty. Also a plus, the dealer is no longer going to carry the AUL extended warranties, as they were siding with me on the matter that it should be covered. So this weekend i am going to take my front end apart and see about welding the tab back on and putting in some reinforcement under the tab. Ill post up some pics when i start working.

Yaaaa, ok so i fixed the drive shaft, just took a dremel with a coarse grain, fine tip grinding stone on it and fixed the channels in the yoke. The bought a shock boot and cut it to fit as a dust cover. The cross member however is a different story. To me and my buddy about an hour to get it out then i welded it up and put in some gussets and put it back in, only to realize that the flat tab bent before it broke and was at the wrong angle. Soooooo long story short i am ordering a new cross member in a few minutes here.
