    Theres a small trip this weekend with me @misdirection1982 @Lots2Learn58 @Coot83 , jeep guy, and possibly @Jsimp we are meeting at Shop N Save in Davis WV at 9am Saturday morning. Going to run Canaan Loop Road and camp in Blackwater State park. It will be cold. Low for Saturday is 3. More people are welcome!

    I just mentioned the electric because when I winter camp up there I usually use a small electric space heater in my RTT :D

    Anybody been thru there lately? I did it 3 yrs ago and wound up with the mother of all pinstripe jobs courtesy the endless tunnel of overhanging brush. Pretty much my entire truck lol but maybe they cleaned it out. Yer good out to table rock tho (as of fall 2015 anyway) and it's a helluva view from there. Creek crossings might be pretty blown out this weekend shits raging around here lol. Also supposed to get a decent snowfall but at least the cold will drop the creeks :). That second crossing from the park side is pretty gnarly lol

    The cabins at blackwater falls are open and there is a pavilion with a fireplace and grill at Pendleton point (no fee at the pavilion)

    The canyon rim road might be a better option as far as the brush goes... we were up there last weekend at the Olson Knob fire tower (dizzying climb, incredible view) and ran into the 304 Jeeper crew.....they'd just driven all the way thru from Douglas and were all smiles

    If you like great beer y'all should make the trip to Stumptown Ales in Davis. Their Holy Citra offering is tops....damn it's good beer if you like citrus hoppy pleasure

    Another group went a couple weeks ago, and the creek crossings were like rivers. If its that high, we arent going to cross. Hoping for some snow wheeling though!
