    Hey guys

New to Tacoma World here, just bought a 2017 in December. Love everything about the truck so far.

I’d like to get someone to professionally undercoat the truck, and I’m willing to travel in a ~300 mile radius from Philly to get it done right (I travel a lot for work, so chances are I can double this up with a work trip).

Anybody have a good shop they can recommend? I did some searching through the forums but couldn't come up with a solid list. Apologies if i overlooked something.

    Thanks for your help!

Could you just fluid film the underside? We do have a huge thread with instruction on fluid film.

I had my truck under coated at the dealer. 10 year warranty.

Yep, Line X of Cumberland County ... had my truck done there.

If you like craft beer, check out Al's of Hampden/Pizza Boy Brewing ... great place.

If not, there's a Neato Burrito essentially across the street from the shop, worth a visit.

How much did that cost ya?

Isn't undercoating worse than nothing at all because it traps moisture?

$140. To carry the warranty you needed to touch it up annually.

The Ziebart type of undercoating tends to dry/crack and trap moisture, but this is Krown undercoating ... which cannot dry out.

This is the only place in the state that does it, although I do know a place in Juniata county that plans to get the infrastructure for Krown within the next year or so.

The nearest shop other than Mechanicsburg for me was in NY state.

Thanks guys, I'll definitely check out that place in Mechanicsburg. I've been driving right past it for years! And that craft brew place too.

~$150/yr seems cheap as chips compared to expensive problems down the road...

I also read about using this Amsoil MPHD product.

    Tacoma Rust Prevention Experiment

I think I'll get the Krown treatment and then apply the 5-6 cans of MPHD myself. One two punch.
