    Has anyone takin there headlights apart and did the conversion? Painted inside black housing?

    It has been done. There are a few how to threads including retrofitting better projectors. Do a search.

    Well I looked at all the bhlm threads. Haven't found anyone doing a true replica of the pro headlights. Looks like you did flat paint mesojdm. The pro has gloss black. I saw that you did the chrome ring, that most guys didn't do on bhlm on the 3rd gen. But anyway good job on your. I started working on mine, and wanted to see if anyone did the conversion since the the pro lights are so spendy to buy.

    ^Thanks. Mine is pretty close to the PRO's.. but with matte black instead of gloss(I hate shiny stuff). Also, the orange reflector has a little darker tint to it. The OEM's are ridiculously priced.
