My names Jake, last year I bought a 2013 Tacoma with crew cab and v6 for work. With my new career path in construction, I've found I drive significantly more than I used to (mainly highway) to get to work and I love this little truck. However I'm terrified of ripping my mud flaps off in a rut or bottoming out on site so I decided I want to install a lift kit (haven't decided on which yet). Also new wheels and some yokohamas would be nice.

Welcome! The search function in the top right corner (under inbox/alerts) is your friend, and a good place to start when trying to decide lift/tires/wheels.

I like your thinking...don't remove the flaps, get them higher off the ground:thumbsup:
That is the kind of outside the box thinking this site is chock full of:rofl:
