    Some stuff...
So I ordered two different LEDs, as follows:

    1. FlashWolves 1000 Lumen AK-T15-4014-45 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0193ISBUA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    $13.99 on Amazon

    2. JDM ASTAR 800 lumen - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K3GBRQ2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    $19.99 on Amazon

Here's the stock bulb on the left with the FlashWolves on the right.

FlashWolves on the right, JDM on the left.

    JDM closeup.
    10.jpg

    JDM on both sides.

Even though it's hard to see in the pics, the JDM seems brighter so I'm sticking with them.

A few night pics, again, of the JDMs:

I put led bulbs in my license plate bracket and after about two months they have began to flicker extremely bad. Sent them back and got another set, after about two months same thing, tried a third set. Checked the housing, the contact points on the bulbs, still same result. Going to go back to regular bulbs in the license plate, dunno whats causing the problem. Still have the LEDs in the reverse lights, no issues there, but thought i would tell you about the license plate bulbs. It seems to be a known issue as well.

I'd have to look back through my Amazon account to see what brand of license plate LED's I have but I've had them for years now with no issue. Double check to ensure moisture is not getting in the housing. I sealed mine better with a little bit of silicone when I installed mine.

Actually had already done that, didnt use silicone though, used some waterproofing agent we use at my job, designed to carry voltage, and it still has done it. I may look around a little bit more, but more than likely i will go back to the regular bulbs.

Did you put it in the connector itself? I just did a bead around the connector that fits in the housing to keep it sealed. It might be worth checking the wires that feed through the bumper to ensure there is not a slice in the insulating rubber as well. I'd be happy to pm you the LED's I'm using; I think they were $10.

I am installing them this afternoon and will post a few pictures for everyone. I'll take a shot with the old LED vs the new and then a shot with both new LED's installed. I have a white garage door so I'll back the truck up to it for photo purposes.

cool! yeah i have the ones as i posted halogen 35 watts. its kind of an alternative to the 886 mod. idont know im just not feeling them. when i put the truck in reverse. and than look in my side mirrors i cant even tell there on. there has to be brighter ones out on the market so if one looks out their side mirror they can see reverse light

I put it around the connector, and a little bit down in there, but that was just on this very last set i put in. I also check in inside of the housing to make sure nothing was bet, corroded, or damaged in anyway. Also checked the back of the housing to make sure that all the wires were sealed in and not loose/wet/corroded. Everything is good from what i can see, but i would like to see the ones you are talking about. Might be able to try those.

here are my lights barely even light up the ground. ill get a better pic in a no light area.

i mean i have the housing of my tail lights painted but i highly doubt that has any effect on reverse light output i mean my parking lot is lit but still. these tail lights are OEM i bought from a junkyard on ebay. and im using the same harness that came with them.im debating on swapping harness's with the lights that came with my truck to see if that'd make ant difference
