It might. Depends on where the grill is cut. I personally like the thin lip look like my grill craft gives. I know a lot of people use zip ties.. YouTube it there's a couple examples.

Did the Secondary Air Pump Mod. The secondary air pump on 2012-2015 4.0L Tacomas pushes fresh air into the exhaust system through valves during cold starts to get the converters to heat up to operating temperature faster. On '13-and-up trucks it also blows for a few seconds at shutdown to avoid exhaust gas condensation on the valves, which can kill them. The 2012's (and V8 Tundras, but I don't know what years) have lots of issues with the valves failing due to condensation. This is bad as it puts the truck in limp mode and costs big bucks to replace the valves and get things back to normal. The only way to avoid it in the long run is to bypass the system completely, but that's a topic for another post. In 2013-and-up trucks like mine the main problem is the crappy foam air filter inside the pump housing, although this can also be a second problem in 2012s. When foam gets old, it crumbles, and pieces can fall into the impeller causing the motor to burn out. That also means limp mode when you least expect it, and well over a grand for a new pump. The fix is to remove the internal foam filter, and add an external filter to protect the pump instead.

UNI UP-107 filter from Amazon (about $13):

    20170107_131058.jpg

Here's the pump with it's snap-on shroud still in place. Pops right off - no screws or anything.
    20170107_131253.jpg

Here's the pump with the shroud removed. The center fastener is all that needs to come out in order to open up the pump. The mushroom-shaped air inlet "muffler" is going away, and will be replaced with the UNI filter.
    20170107_131406.jpg

The screw takes a T20 Torx bit.
    20170107_131643.jpg

Removing the top of the pump reveals the worlds cheapest piece of foam. This filter drys out then falls into the impeller. If that happens on the trail, you're fucked.
    20170107_131804.jpg

Remove the foam filter and mail it back to Toyota with a "thank you" letter.
    20170107_131848.jpg

Next you need to remove the factory inlet muffler. It has four tabs and probably could be removed without breaking it, but I busted two of the tabs in the process. It felt good.
    20170107_132158.jpg

Put the UNI filter on the inlet in place of the muffler.
    20170107_132347.jpg

    Put the pump back together.
    20170107_132523.jpg

With the shroud back in place everything looks stock. A little dust and grime and nobody will ever notice.

I also swapped my amber LED fog light pods for white ones. The mounts are from Apex Fabworks, and they are great. The quality is top notch and the mounts use Cali Raised pods. Chris, a.k.a. @MojaveMadman has been fantastic to work with. He will take really good care of you.
