I am in the process of painting some steel rims that I picked up, and noticed one of them had a slight bend in the outside lip of the rim.
How should I go about bending that back.??
    Some heat and a hammer??
How should I check the straightness or warpness of the other rims, to make sure they are good??
I did roll them on a flat surface, and they seem to roll fine.
    Thanks
    Barry

Minor bends on steel rims can be straightened with a hammer, don't use heat though. Check carefully for any signs of cracking after, especially at the ends of where it was bent. Wear ear protection too, it will ring pretty good. :)

That's nothing, on my old car. Hit a pothole, not once did it ever leak air and no vibrations believe it or not lol.
