I'm wanting to buy one, I have the short bed. Looks like the swift model for me.
Which one you have? Have you done any suspension mods? I've talked to a couple of owners and picked there brains but I'm no expert.
    Fred
Did you give Phoenix brand a look? They where the original 4wheel campers.

I have a Eagle mounted on my 2013 DCSB sport 285/75/16 with Fox shocks up front, Firestone airbags, fox 2.0 rear shocks and a single aal. Internal mounting brackets purchased from Four Wheel camper. Seems to be doing just fine. i did a 3500 mile road trip this summer through Oregon, Washington,Idaho,Montana,Wyoming,Utah,Nevada and back home to California. No problems at all. Just needed to tighten the turn buckles half way though our trip. I was in Yosemite this last weekend and had a little problem with the abs, so i will be upgrading brakes to handle the extra weight before our next trip.

I have had a Fleet pop-up on my Taco for the last 6 months. Love it. The most needed addition was Towing Mirrors! They are essential. Have bought a set of Helllwig 1906 springs to be installed post-xmas.

Nice to see some FWC community dropping in!!!
    Update::
I've since gotten my swift at the beginning of December, picked it up at Rocky Mountain Four Wheel Camper in Colorado. Can't say nothing but great things about Chris and Josh, top rank guys, helpful and a true pleasurable experience. Drove from Cali to get it but don't get me on that story... Let such say I'm a Happy Camper!!
Drove out there with two extra leafs added to each spring, although truck sat right with camper the leafs where flat straight across.
(No air bags yet) I can see any wheeling will be pushing it, not to mention the sway in turns.
To make this short and lucky for me!!
Toytec resides just north of Denver, David there super helpful and knowledgeable, well I went all out!! Glad I did the truck rides like a champ and hardly notices the weight. Boss 2.5 kit ft and bk (all rebuildable) OME leafs w/ added leaf pack, total chaos upper A arms and Firestone Air bags. Oh yes, still can't wipe the smile off my face, still on the road back to Cali via southern route. Not to mention also in the Denver area InSain Fabrication where I bought his badass ft bumper for 3rd gen, beefy rock sliders and had him install everything plus some led light goodies from Baja Design... oh not to mention a winch for that sweet bumper!! Corey is a cut above the rest in the fab world, a true talent!
I looked at it this way... I'm building a home on wheels and headed off fishing for the next 9+ months. Don't want to have to worry about anything... Just Fishing!!!!

Stock size for now for the Off Road, didn't want to go up yet with the top weight.
265/70 x 16, but had to step up to an E load rated tire. Next set will be 285/75 x 16, taller and a lil skinny'r

Has any one of you been on a scale with your rig on?
How much weight do you have back there?

I like the suspension upgrade. But how does the engine do going up mountain roads in Utah. How about the transmission?
I'm just curious... I know how much crap we take when we go camping.

    Nice pictures by the way.

My FWC Fleet shell, which includes an additional battery, "dinette" (table & two seats) and some little cabinets, weighs 851 lbs. Four cylinder engine, manual transmission, 4WD. No difficulties encountered going uphill - though it's important to pack the back properly or things will roll around when you are in the back country.

Hey guys I have a 2016 Tacoma TRD OR LB and just bought a 2017 FWC Fleet. My current upgrades to the Tacoma are OME suspension all the way around with 887 springs up front and Dakar leaf pack in the rear. My tires are Cooper AT3 LT275/70/17 C load. I went in to discount tire today and they told me my tires can hold 2600 on each tire and that I am well within the limit and will not need to upgrade to a 10 ply tire. However, I see a lot of guys with E load tires and air bags with the four wheel campers. Can anyone help tell me if I am good to go with my current set up with the Dakar leafs in the rear? I have not been able to find out how much the Dakars are rated for weight wise. Thanks in advance guys!

The firestone ride rite bags? No issues I'm assuming? I guess I'll have to get an extra leaf for my Dakars but maybe not if I'm putting bags with the standard Dakars.

Unfortunately the truck and camper have both been sold. Moved on to a Tundra. No camper as of now. Focusing on saving more to purchase a house. I've been looking more and more at teardrop style trailers. I've had a few catch my eye. Just pricey. But if something comes up at a good price I may jump on it.
