I have some LED's installed in my grille that run direct from the battery and a switch that's installed in the cabin.

I'd like to abandon the switch and have these come on the my daytime running lights (which are actually the yellow park lights on my Access cab).

Before I start this crossover, does anyone actually know which colour wire is the 12v? Assuming there are several to choose from when I get to that point.

Are you still here a year later? I'm looking for the same thing!

You can find the DRL fuse under the hood and use an add-a-fuse, then just ground the (-) somewhere under the hood. Worked on my 2nd gen when I installed raptor lights in the grille. Make sure you properly size the fuse for the lights so that if something blows it doesn't fry the ECU. It's happened to a few members already.

I ended up figuring it out. Now when I turn my parking lights on (as well as my headlights), the LEDs turn on as well!
However, I totally forget what colour I tapped in to.
