Thanks I will see what he says. My paypal was hacked twice last week. Someone ordered a go pro from crutchfield and then two days later the same person ordered a watch from CO this was after the account was supposedly closed.

This^ I learned from my frame process to design everything to be removable. One day you might want to remove the bed, the bed rack, etc. You'll be shooting yourself in the foot without them. This is what I use.

    We
But need to use butt connectors to attach them. Delphi connectors are better, but need special crimper and are wire gauge specific.

Even more time consuming and more of a PITA.
Plus a soldered connection can be more rigid which could cause the wire to fracture die to vibration.

IQUOTE="Blackout14, post: 14094143, member: 136543"]Nah takes me ten seconds to solder with my propane powered soldering iron and it you cross twist the wires first the connection is so small it ain't ever comming undone. For me it's easier then priming those tiny terminals and jamming into the connector and more water tight[/QUOTE]
I use crimp connectors that have shrink tubing on them. Bit truthfully doing 20 or 22 gauge wires are really a bitch to crimp

I might be able to help you - I bought a ton of Metrapack/weatherpack/deutch connectors for my fuse panel and have a ton extra of the males/females and the pins associated with them. Completely waterproof with the rubber seals for 16/18 AWG wire. If you can wait until next month when I'm back in Boston I could sell you some of my overstock. If you bring your truck over I have all the crimpers and wire strippers needed.

I do love the idea of weather pack. Very clean work.

    Check The Build Thread
If somebody is looking for a cap and the Pyrite Mica color just won't work for you, I'd consider trading my black snugtop depending on the options of the Pyrite one (sliding front window, headliner, etc.).

I'm even considering picking this up anyway but it leaves me with the cap I currently have and no place to put it.

Anyway, I'm frequently here in DC but for this trip I'm here until the 16th.
