Garages and draining water suck. Builders taking shortcuts suck and come back to haunt the owner. Wild Crow might have smuggled tons of maple syrup out of Kanada into the US. Quebec is missing it and it is causing all types of economic issues there. And Don (Truggin) remodeled his kitchen and now has a beautiful looking kitchen. Of course food and drink. Oh and I spend money like a drunken sailor. Likely forgot a thing or three.

 

Like the pot filled cars I'm going to have to work on.

Thanks for the update. Nice pics of the pileated. Was that a young one or just looked small. We have them but they are always high in the pines, and I don't have the glass to get a good shot. You can always tell when they are around. That slow, deep drum is distinctive.

Great call Tim, I haven't seen a small one around and think the cold has something to do with it. Most birds puff up and seem larger when it gets really cold so not sure why this guy seemed so small. Exactly a year ago did get lucky and got a shot of one on the suet feeder to give an idea of the size. This was uncropped out the sliding glass door this filled the whole frame.

 

Whew only took me 40 min to catch up lol
