Good deal man. Sounds like you sold it to someone that appreciates the value of it.

Man I loved that truck. So well done. I had to keep reminding myself that I don't have a garage to work on it.

Jason thanks for putting up with my newb issues. I was able to make the noise by just rocking the truck back and forth. Guess it's not the drive shaft. Here's a video of the sound:

    Things I've checked:

    Lubed uniballs with tri-flow
    Retorqued UCA's
Regreased UCA's and LCA's (most were completely full - one needed a little to have pressure stop the gun putting more without squeezing too hard)

    Any ideas anyone?

Brake lines are secured with zip ties. They were cheap double compression fitting ones with no place for clips so that seemed to be the best way... Limit straps are on there with about an inch of slack. ????

The limit straps could be just moving around. And wow only an inch of down travel? Bet that rides rough.

Work in progress - 4 banger problems. I'll be adding 100lbs to the front soon to get the springs to settle more. I'm like 3.5" up without any preload on the coils. Limit straps are the kind with no clevis so they're just sitting there with the ends bolted down.

My truck sounds like mechanical rice crispies when I'm starting and stopping and turning.  o_O

An inch of strap equates to more than inch of wheel travel, but yea - still not a whole lot.

Is there a video of this epic DD huck?

And did that thing ever achieve any sort of alignment afterwards?
