I think the hydro fluid on the pulleys and belt aren't helping the steering situation either.

I'm more concerned about where the fluid escaped from. Like others said, have a helper turn the wheel with the engine running and observe the bleeding area.

I thought the VSC makes it difficult to do donuts? ... or cookies, crullers or any pastry for that matter. ;)

Will do. With the mess that is there I won't be able to see much unless its an obvious spray. We will see.

Actually, yes... Nothing reverts a grown man back to child form faster than a little snow.
It's funny, you can actually hear exactly when the pump fails, right at the 0:37 mark.

Well I refilled the reservoir, which did not take much.
Had the lady turn the wheel while I watched under the hood.
Power steering now works again just fine (can't believe being just a tiny but low can effect it so much)!
Also, could not see any fluid leaking from anywhere.
It does make a little noise when coming to full lock towards the left, but other than that I can't find, or feel any problems. Weird.

This sure sounds like what I'm experiencing... I don't know enough about power steering mechanics, had no idea their was a relief.

If you had it cranked for that long you cavitated the fluid wich caused it to bubble over. If the fluid has a burned smell it should be replaced.

you can hear the progression of aeration in the video. the whining gets worse n worse. (love the vid btw)

Next time, simply dont hold it at full lock (really you should never hold at full lock, i always back it off just a smidge if i have to make a tight turn) then you wont ever have this problem again.

You might have some air in the lines due to this. Bleed the system. (securely get the front off the ground, turn the truck on and move the wheel from one lock to the other but dont hold on the lock simply tap it and move the other direction)

Years ago doing donuts in my Honda CRV I broke a bolt that held the tensioner for the power steering belt. I took the belt off and drove with no power steering for a few months till I got it fixed.

    Probably need to do that...

Just got back from running some errands in town. Throughout the trip, the power steering got worse and worse. It still "works", but its having issues. Checked the fluid when I got home, still full. So I'm thinking I toasted the pump?

I need to try and bleed the lines, but its a slushy nasty mess outside, that can wait.

You might of toasted the pump, but id bleed the system for sure. Air in a hydraulic system like that will cause all sorts of weird issues.

I don't think you need to bleed a power steering pump. When you aren't changing the steering angle, the pump is still circulating fluid back to the reservoir and thereby self bleeds.

OP: There should be a screen or filter somewhere in the system. You might need to take something apart to find it. Make sure it isn't plugged up, because if its plugged, it will do exactly what you are observing. Hopefully it isn't plugged with bits of the pump.
