I only bring that up because when we lost to osu a few years ago henry had 112 yards on 6 carries... WHY THE HECK WOULD ANYONE NOT GIVE HIM THE BALL!!! if it were up to me, he either 1. would have had enough carries to bring that near 19 ypc average down. 2 would have about a 350 yard game. or 3 been hauled off the field because of injury. no way I'm gonna quit something that works until the other team figures it out.

That's going to depend on what scenario you want it for as to what you might want to carry. General then 4x4's and some soft bandages you can wrap a wound with. Bandaids, maybe a few ace wraps. Antiseptic of some kind. If you can find it a bottle of sterile water will work also. Use the environment around you for other things you need. If someone breaks an arm then use sticks and duct tape to make a splint. You could also use 550 cord in place of tape. Do yourself a favor though and don't buy those overpriced first aid kits. I would say you would never use 60% of what's in them. Take a look at them and see what you think you may have a use for, then buy those supplies and put them in something else to carry it. Bags can be bought cheap and you can mark them as first aid kits.

You would be surprised at how little we actually use out of our jump kits on the truck and we do this every 3rd day.

I need to build an aid kit for my truck. @medic2230 is right! I learned the store bought kit I had was near worthless in the Scouts. The bandages and tape were good, the cold packs, and that was about it. Cordage and sticks are plentiful to make splints and stretchers in the woods

 

Yeah I was holding my tongue on that last one. They do have an excellent vet school and hospital on campus.
