I'm swapping out my bucket for a 60/40 bench in my 04. I got all of the parts but can't figure out where the center lap belt bolts to. I'm assuming there is a piece of carpet cover in the bolt. Does anyone have picture of where it bolts to?

    Thanks

There should be a spot for it near the bolt for the inner rear passenger seat.

I swapped from 60/40 to bucket seats and that is where I removed the center seat belt. Maybe your carpet doesn't have a cut in the carpet where you can access it?

There is a bracket attached to the floor pan via this bolt, that runs under the seat rails and up to the center seat.

So I located the spot and cut a hole in my carpet. I scraped away the white caulking covering where the holes should be. The spots are marked on the sheet metal, but no holes. I must be one of the only people to go from buckets to a 60/40 bench. Anyhow, I think the next step is to drill down a bit and see if the metal is tapped for a 14mm just under the sheet metal.

I'm pretty sure all the seat bolts use nuts that are welded on the underside of the floor, so you probably won't find anything threaded. You can just drill a hole and use a nut and bolt, but you should use thread locker to make sure it won't loosen over time.

I'd like to see pics of this once you get your bench in. I'd like to swap my buckets for a split bench too in a DC.

I got under the truck and looked. Toyota just uses nuts welded under the floor. I'm going to do what nzbrock suggested and use my own nut and drill out the holes for 14mm bolt and locator pin. I'll take pics and post them. Looks pretty easy.
