    If all else fails you can use trailer hitch extender. "stinger". if you don't use it just return.

    Could you gain enough room by just deflating the rear tires on the quad? It's been years since I had one and it was a 250X that fit in my 91 toyota 6 foot bed with room to spare. I've actually been contemplating a truck/bike road trip and I was thinking of using a hitch carrier with lights on it for my CBR500R. Seems so much easier than a trailer. I brought my bike home in the back of my truck but ramps always sketch me out with a street bike and a lifted truck.

    rent a Uhaul flatbead.
