Mine has had it for over 3000 miles now. Lifted the truck at 6000, noticed it at 13000 and now have close to 17000. It vibes intermittent up to 50ish mph and goes away. Usually it gets smoother when the truck/diff is warmed up. I plan on having a shop near me install the bushing.

It will eventually chew up your CV output shaft if you do nothing about it. Bushing is cheap and saves the cost of a CV.

They quoted me 3hours of work at $90 per hr. It is a lot, but I really want to get it done.

East Coast Gear Supply said they can do it in less than an hour at $160 out the door. I might be going to NC soon, and their shop is in Raleigh.

    Still trying to decide.

1-1.5 hours is reasonable, should def do a front diff fluid change since you dump a lot anyways. if anyone is in the NH area i got a friend who is very good at em and very reasonable

Most shops have no clue about the needle bearing problem and the bushing procedure, so they think it's a long job. If they see the video from ECGS then they will realize what's up.

That's what I'm afraid of. I will supply them with the part and tools. If they even look at me funny when I set up the appointment I'm going elsewhere.

Flat out just going to tell them I want the needle bearing out and the bushing in. 2 hours tops is all I'm willing to pay for on labor rates.

just be careful. rushing mechanics often ends poorly. they often get paid flat rate and will rush if needed which isnt a good thing when doing something like this. all it would take is a dropped needle or a poorly seated seal to turn into a headache quick. id also highly recommend picking up a couple qt of gear oil and have em do the front diff fluid at the same time

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Look up ECGS which is East Coast Gear supply. All the info you need is there including a video on removal and install.
