It was a lot of fun. Unlike going out to Big Bear the nearby highways weren't clogged with morons who didn't get snow tires or bring chains/cables.

That's pretty risky, but I guess if you have a radio it's not too bad.

When I started heading off-road I was on the boat still and had a pretty odd schedule. Going in groups was just not an option most of the time. I often enjoy the solace more than anything else after doing so many trips alone.

Heading out to some trails around Borrego Springs (Lower Coyote Canyon, Font's Point, others) and Ocotillo Wells on the 16th. No hardcore stuff, my Tundra doesn't fit so well on those trails anyway. Who's interested?

If you're not busy there's a trip planned 20-22 in superstition.

I hear ya, it's nice to go and do your own thing and remember to rely on yourself and experience when going out. Definitely helps with self reliance when problems do occur around others.

Did that last Saturday to Ocotillo Wells.

Yes he is, even on his 2nd attempt at rising from the ashes. I think @battlescars was being facetious.

True, I was just trying to rise the dead. Anyways I will be out there next weekend to watch @Speed Freek race. At least I can count on someone on this forum to be out where the sun shines...
