So I'm wanting to Bedliner my front plate bumper and interior floor boards. Does anyone have any experience with specific kits? Looking at Amazon I can get the seperate pieces for less than a kit. What have you guys used? Any dos and donts?

I used Herculiner on my bed. Got it from Amazon for about $75 for the kit. Comes with a gallon of the liner, rollers and brushes. Came out pretty good and is decently durable. Definitely not near as thick as Rhino or Line-X, but for pretty cheap it works well enough for me. It's easy to touch up too if it does scrape off. Just sand with some 80 grit, clean with Xylene and paint more on.

I used the rustoleum stuff in the rattle can on my sliders and will probably use it on my bumper too. You don't need a kit. Clean it and wipe it down with some alcohol then prime and spray on the bed liner. My sliders took 2 cans of self etching primer and 3 cans of the bed liner (under $40).

I used herculiner on the bed of my 04 and it turned out great. Used painters tape on the bed rails for clean lines. Don't bother w the provided roller I just poured out evenly then smoothed it out. Did thAt about six years ago and it's held up well. And I USE my truck as a truck. I live on a beef farm in western ny.salt on roads and all it has held up well.

I can highly recommend Monstaliner , I have used it a bit and it is an easy application and has held up great so far.
