    One of my personal goals for 2017 is to get my CCW permit. I believe several people on here have theirs. Looking for recommendations on instructors / classes. Erie/Weld county.

    Do it before that expires... You may just be able to transfer it depending on if that's considered a GA ccw. I was able to, but i also had plenty of firearms classes and such.

    good call. i know the GA in-state CCW has reciprocity here, among many other states. would be worth it to check. how would you suggest i go about doing this? I dont really know who/what department to talk to

    Your county sheriffs office is who issues it i would start there, google is also helpful

    You should beable to turn that in and switch it over to a Colorado with out having to do a class since you already have a carry permit. Might have to check with your county.
