Yeah it really was a sweet ride. Oh well it can be rebuilt bigger and better at another point in my life. I'd really love to get me a 4 door. Plus I don't know if it's just me but I didn't ever receive a new frame. So frame rust was always in the back of my mind.. I don't know if it would of ever had problems but it was always a worry owning a first gen.

    Ah, jeez!
I get it, man. The supercharger issues and the vibes put a damper on things.

No I got it "inspected" at the dealer and they said it was good then the window of time passed on the recall I just always worried about it in the future.

I really like the car. The truck was falling apart. It just made sense. Going to school and funding a truck is tough man. Have you heard bad things about ims or something? It basically just a simple hatchback corolla. I feel like reliability should be there.

I already had a car payment for the truck.. plus trying to fix it every month was draining me. I'll be saving a whole bunch in gas And no maintenance, lol and yeah I am already itching to find stuff to mod to the Im but it's a very limited aftermarket wich is a bummer. But I get to mod the land cruiser somewhat!! Plus I got a street bike that needs attention. I'm totally bummed about the truck being gone but it's a big weight lifted off my shoulders not having to deal with all the truck stuff.. :/ but before selling it the truck has been sitting in the car port for the past like 8 months because I couldn't figure out how to fix it! So I just felt bad letting it sit.

The supercharger was pinging like crazy. It kept over heating on me, the truck had this wicked vibration for the past year or so every time I'd go over 45-50, I had some sort of howling noise, it needed tires.. there's a couple
Other just odd things about it, I could of figured out eventually but at this point I just need a reliable car to get me to school and work, I'll still be doing a bunch of camping the seats fold down so there's tons of cargo space plus I'll be getting a roof rack shortly for my room!

haha yea you probably would have made a killing parting it out and setting it up stock first before selling.

I gotta say I was really bummed not to see a familiar face driving. Saw your Tacoma this morning on I-15 headed south near 4500 S. I didn't know you sold it. Still looks rad though. I would have gotten a better picture but morning traffic was crazy.
