    Any tips?

I have searched the boards, but most results point towards that no drilling bracket. Not gonna order that...so I guess I will be drilling.

    Later.

If you ever plan on taking the plate off again, I would look towards a bracket. The holes left over are slightly annoying when you notice them.

That said, one of the states I registered in required front plates, so I drilled. I ran a thin strip of foam weatherstripping around the back of the plate and used rubber washers on each screw to avoid scratching up the bumper much. Six years later when I got sick of the plate catching in a couple car washes, I pulled it off and the bumper was clean minus the holes.

I bought the no drill Slybrackets and love them! Highly recommended!

I made my own bracket set up and put bumper plugs in the stupid holes the dealer drilled.

Eventually taking the whole bumper off and replacing it...but thanks for the advice.

Ever thought of just running it without one. I've ran my truck without the front plate since the day I drove it off the lot, and I've never been bothered/pulled over for not having it.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Put down some painters tape. Just measure the distance between the liscence plate bracket holes. Make your two marks. Check and see if they're level, and the go for it.

Our state doesn't require it. It's an Oakland Raiders plate.
