    So I just got my Taco a few months ago, My first new truck ever. Anyways I've been getting major slippage using the factory tires (weather not asshattery), I also do some moderate off-roading. So what I want to know is what I should be looking at when looking for tires. I'm also on a budget...

    If you do moderate offroading I would suggest some all terrains.
    For size you will have to stay below a 33" tire if you are going to get the tires before you get a lift.

    6" Fabtech coilover lift. 35/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ, 17x9 ProComp 1089 wheels painted black, UWS black lowprofile toolbox, husky liners, tacoma bed mat, bed lights, Premier stereo, Cobra 19 cb, firestik 3' antenna.
    An All Terrain tire would be your best bet from what I can tell. A lot of people run Bf Goodrich All Terrains, Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts, and Nitto A/T. Those are just a couple to get you started. They seem to be the most popular. Welcome to Tacoma World.
