So, I was driving my pops 2014 Silverado the other night, and it has a dim LED in the overhead console that produces just enough light over the cupholders and stuff to see what your doing, but not bright enough to really notice it shining out of the overhead console or reflecting off anything in the cupholder area.

Anyone have an ideas what kind of LED bulb would work for that? Not too bright, flood pattern, preferably in Amber.

The few times Ive messed with regular LED's many many years ago I recall them just basically being either overly bright for this application or too much of a spot pattern.

Don't say get the Flyzeye unit as I already have one but can't use it anymore because of my techdeck.

I guess worst case I can yank apart the Flyzeye unit and rob it of an LED or two.

    Thanks!
