I have a 2005 Tacoma. Having problems with ABS. The indicator light is NOT ON. Using the brakes in the ice/snow the truck just continues to roll and it doesn't want to stop. I can sometimes hear the ABS Motor, but I never really feel that vibration in the brake pedal. So I did a test today, I engaged my locker which automatically turns off the ABS (LIGHT CAME ON) I know this is normal. I have no problems coming to a stop. Has anyone had this problem

I also have a 2005. I've also ran into that same issue while driving through mud and puddles. I can hear the motor but the light won't come on. Somewhere in this site is a write up on how to put the ASB on a switch so you can manually turn it on and off to avoid that issue.
