IMO kinda... I say kinda because it is kinda pointless as alot of the light will be blocked by the bed... unless you are using it as a bed light. Then i would say you have the brightest bed light i have ever seen! haha.

But hey man, its your truck, and if it makes you happy then leave it! If you decide you dont like it there then mount it on your frame and use it as rock lights... haha JK dont do that!
