Has anyone ever considered making their TRD PRO / SEMA wheels two toned? By two toned, I mean sanding the finish off the edge of the wheel and high points of the spokes to reveal the silver aluminum underneath. The areas I am talking about are outlined below in red. I'm thinking this could look pretty good. Thoughts?

It would take a lot of work to sand the rim face. Then you would only have a dull, satin Aluminum finish. It would really take a long time to sand progressive grit to get to a polished finish. The aluminum would oxidize if you did not clear coat the wheel.
