-5 here right now. Just came in from taking the dogs out and not a lot of wind, windchill is -18. Didn't even put the wool filson cap on or gloves. Damn been cold enough long enough kind of getting used to it. But up to 11 today, double that tomorrow then the 30's. Keeping the silk long johns on but will switch to a lighter coat instead of my 20+ year old knee length wool LL Bean coat.

Reminds me a lot of an ice shack. A lot of people around here use them for camping during deer season, then ice fishing in the winter. Lots of those around these parts a lot of companies make them. I have seen a number of nice campers made out of V-nose trailers too. With featherlite trailers being so close have considered that too.

Now if money were no objection, but there is always a budget.. The top of the line ice shanty trailer manufacture is also in Mn. not surprising. Ice Castle Fish Houses. Here is one you can camp in, go to the races in, and ice fish out of. At more than 30K. TV included of course.

I might even consider taking up ice fishing again out of one of these. Actually they have 2 TV's. The second is so you can watch the fish under the ice approach and work your bait.

Love my buddy heaters, have the big buddy and little buddy. I use the little buddy in the shower and crapper tents in the winter to warm things up in the morning makes a big difference LOL. The wood stove is nice when it gets really cold but for taking the chill out of the tent the big buddy is awesome. So says the dogs.

That is what I always called that stuffed animal, his baby. Sniper always tore up every stuffed animal I ever gave him, except that one. For what ever reason that one he mouths, his eyes roll back in his head and lights out he goes to sleep. Which is great when camping in close quarters. It was my oldest sons toy almost 30 years ago. Unfortunately last year the youngest pup got a hold of it and tore it up. I feel bad for the old guy, he has had to put up with a lot of chit from the young pup. The old guy turns 14 today. His stomach can't handle food like it used to so can't give him his usual bacon birthday treat today but he started off the day with some extra carrots.

Good morning 50's. Happy Friday. Will get the reverse lights wired up Saturday am, on call starting at noon. @Casper66 how did you cut the holes for your lights? Did you use an angle grinder, plasma cutter or ? Either way they look great in your bumper. Stay safe all and make it to the weekend-you earned it! @Kolunatic continue healing, best wishes.

Yes he is a sweet potato fan, but wants them cooked first he is not spoiled :) For whatever reason carrots are his favorite, Tollers go nuts over carrots. I call it their orange love LOL. Even use them for treats and taught the youngest to do front where he will get so close his nose is almost touching me. The oldest is a bit picky on his veggies. The youngest however is a 4 legged walking composter raw or cooked any veggies doesn't matter. Potato skins, cabbage cores, anything I would have composted in the past.

Average lifespan for a Toller is 12 years so I have been blessed with an additional 2 years. It isn't always pretty, and hard to watch sometimes. But when I rub his ears and he moans and purrs like a cat it is all worth it.
