    Is the actuator causing you problems? To me it looks like that modification is a response to the contacts first failing. If the unit is still working, leave it be. If it has already failed, you'll need to diagnose the cause before taking corrective steps.

    I am having intermittent problems with the 4wd light blinking, and some even bigger issues getting out of 4wd. The ADD is a common area of trouble on these trucks, and this one has never been touched so I would like to get in there and at the very least eliminate it as a variable.
