And that haha. Trucks a little tough to steer when in 4wd.

Bought the PSC "3.4" bundle back when they use to advertise it as a kit. Yep, 6" ram, had PSC install an internal stop. No problems with the knuckles (TG Arms, TG Trunnion/Eliminator configuration) Did upgrade to Front Range ARP studs as an added precaution.

Based off measurements from my setup, a full 6" throw ram was too much.

    **Edit**

Also buy more hose, all their kits do not come with enough.

Sounds good. Pretty much what I got. They said they don't advertise it anymore cause they don't make the bracket for the bump but tg does.

Good to know on the knuckles. Have ARPs and the 5th stud so should hold up if adjusted right.

Just some pictures from the Winter 4x4 Jamboree from last weekend in Sand Hollow. Was a good time and my gfs first real time wheeling and she had a blast. We wheeled The Renegade (8 rated trail) on Friday and Milts Mile (7 rated trail) on Saturday. Both where good trails but definitly enjoyed saturday more. No body damage and no real issues which had me happy. Even made it up pretty much every obstacle except for a few and was the only rig on 35s. It rained all day Friday so made for a lot of skinny pedal action and smoking tires haha. And Ko2s suck in wet sand....

    Aw, shit!

Those pictures make me homesick! Glad you had fun, dude. It's a pretty amazing place.

The 'Milt' in Milt's Mile owns a 4WD shop in St. George. He did a bunch of stuff on my CJ5, and his son had a pretty badass Toyota truggie back in the day.

Went and played again this weekend after fixing the crappy trunnion bearing on the driver side and finally getting the alignment right. Nice to not fight the steering. Went out to Ute on Saturday and did a little crawling but mainly help run a checkpoint for my old desert racing club. Sunday we met up with some local jeep guys and ran a new trail in Vegas called "2 Leaf". Probably the hardest trail I've done yet and everything was wet which made it even harder. Smallest tire again and it showed. Struggled on some of the obstacles but made it up without needing a winch or tug. Wont be going back to that trail till I get some sort of cage and atleast bob the bed. 37s would be nice but not sure when Ill get those.

No pictures of saturday but some of sunday. Two cool suzuki samuaris on 37s and toyota axles and full hydro. They made everything look easy and once I got to bigger axles, I may save these and build one of those or an old toyota single cab. Who knows.

So with all thag being said and almost a year since the swap and some trails, the truck is to long for my liking and can't steer worth a crap. So after Moab in April, I think I'm going to sell the swingout and side guards and maybe the rack.

The wheelbase is 125-126 right now and I want to be around 115. Goal is to either Bob the front and rear of the bed I have and move the Chevy springs foward and either remount the gas tank or switch to a f150 tank. Or do all the above but see if I can trade my bed for a double cab bed with the toyota junkyard guy I know. Then highclearence the bed, mount the spare in the bed and some other little things like maybe a cage idk. Still all an idea and nothing will happen after Moab.

End goal is something like this:

You think you'll need to go as far as bobbing the front of the bed, too?

Yeah to get the wheel base I want with the extra cab bed I'd have to Bob the front to bring the wheel wells closer to the cab then the rear for the overhang. That white one is pretty close to how I want it I think although not sure on the wb of it. Probably close though.

Just posted in the sas bs thread about throwing around the idea of making a tube bed and then bolting the bed sides on and off for harder trails. I like the look of the bedsides and tailgate to much to ditch them for a flat bed or tube bed

If you do shorten her up, you gonna sell off those parts? Specifically the sliders, I'd be interested in them. Also, long time lurker. Love how far this truck has come.

The rear bumper, side guards, and the rack. Don't want to redo the steps so probably not.

Thanks for the fompliments. Just time for some changes

Finally got some decent work done on the steering, pulleys installed on new pump, plate welded to the pumpkin for ram mounts, spacer made and installed for the ram and steering stops adjusted again. Should be able to put it all toether on tuesday hopefully.

Spacer for the ram. Used a dewalt grinder spanner wrench with a small cut to crack it open. Once you have the cab out, you just measure your steering, cut a spacer and slide it in then reassemble. A lot easier than I thought.

Got this done the other day. PSC's kit wasnt the greatest and honestly wish i just got the trail gear kit. Steerings nice and smooth. Also changed the shackle bushings on the front, new bomb proof motor mounts, and the air filter. Didn't make it to sand hollow today sadly, just didn't have time to get the truck ready.

Added a 3/8s spacer to the rear to try and level the truck out some as well as check everything over and paint mark some bolts. Also got some work done on the half doors.

Thanks man. They don't look to bad for my first time with body work and painting with a spray gun lol. Should look even better with some mirrors. I'm happy with them though
