    That's my understanding.

I've heard that before... I was looking at some stock replacements quick.. NSB-AGM24F and NSB-AGM35.

    Any recommendations?

Exactly what I determined when I was doing my research last week. The B+ X2 is pricey still but perhaps worth it.

The Group 24 is a little larger. If you have the room, I would run the larger battery personally.

That's what I did when I replaced mine. I went with the larger battery.

If you go to batteries plus, ask them to do better on the price. I got them down to about 225.00 when I got mine. Never hurts to ask. Hell.....if anything, they'll cover sales tax.

Optima sucks bawlz now. I went through red tops like they were free in my company rapist van. After the third one I gave up. Friends bought yellow tops, same sitch. Odyssey, Northstar, hell even Duralast AGM would be better.
