    Heads up display lol...
So I have recently been thinking about putting a lift on my truck along with bigger wheels/tires. My only concern is I have a 2009 5 lug regular cab Tacoma. I just got it for my first car in June of '16, and I absolutely love it, however the roads in my town don't. We have some serious pot holes and a lot of dirt roads. So to counter act against this issue I was thinking about getting a lift on my truck and tires bigger than the 215s. However I don't want to restrict the fuel economy or torque. What size lift should I get (if any), and what size of tires.

I have been looking into 2-3'' complete lift and 235-255s.

Search function is not that useful until you know what you're looking for so here are a few good links and yes people will give you a hard time because your engine is an inline 4, not a v formation 4. You can just call your truck a 5 lug regular cab so everyone will know what you're talking about when you specify your model.

Do it. It looks better and it'll ride better.
