Full disclosure, I usually prefer new vehicles to used....

Looks clean outside, interior looks dirtier than my 08 to the left of the wheel. I hate the steps on that thing.

I personally wouldn't pay that much for a used Tacoma with almost 70K on it, although the tonneau cover is the same style as I buy. I would likely buy a new 17 for 10-12K more. That's just me though.

It's a Mass vehicle albeit not an old one, how does the underside look?

+1, From the prices I have seen on used Tacoma's, that is a good deal. I would check it out really well.

my 2013 Prerunner DCSB in that same color was $22k when i bought it.

sold it to a dealer for $28k with 40,000 miles.

this one is 4wd, definitely a steal.

Assuming it has no problems, that's a good deal.

I agree, seems like a good price if everything checks out.

I paid 31k for a 2014 limited 4x4 v6 with around 30k miles that was immaculate. That was almost two years ago and KBB still has it valued at 27-28k with around 50k miles. Obviously a year newer, 20k less miles and a limited vs an SR5 but I still think that truck is a pretty good deal. As long as the underside is in good condition I think this is a great deal also. Check KBB and other similar sites and it should give you a better idea.

The dash is rather sad, from the pictures. It does have that "tear" right above the CD player. No idea what could have caused that. I'm thinking adhesive pulled it off, perhaps a scanner or the like was mounted there. Any ideas on repairing that?

It's already out of its powertrain. I wouldn't purchase it unless your personal finances says that's what you can afford. I prefer my used vehicles with 30000 miles or less.

I'd hold out for a TRD if your going used and spending that much, you get much more bang for your buck with extras and they hold their value better. Plenty around in Mass and dealers want to move them, I paid about $5k more than that back in 2013 for a TRD OR with 8,000 miles on it. Enjoyed the warrenty for a few years and used it for a few TSB's. I'm at 68,000 now and the book is still around $28,000
