I had an issue installing these weathertech window guards. My driver side cracked a bit. Luckily it's not in a visible area. They are harder to get in than the 2nd gen ones. Just be more careful than I was.

But yeah, weathertechs are the way to go. I notice more wind noise with them installed, but it's not terrible.

UPDATE: Called weathertech and they are sending me new ones. They said mine should have not been that difficult to install. I had a picture of the front drivers side sticking about 1" past the window ledge. Maybe got a bad one. Good on them for sending me a new set though!

Does your automatic roll-up work okay?

Mine works fine. There is an important step: After install, pull up and outward on the visor. I didn't do that and the auto-rollup would stop at the top and go back down a bit. I reinstalled and did that step, now it works fine.

    Pretty much stock...
I just got the notification an hour ago from WeatherTech that they now have them available for the 3rd Gen (2016/2017) models.

I just placed an order for Double Cab Front/Rear visors in Dark; part number 82792

The part number for the Light version is 72972.

Here is the link for the one i ordered:
    http://www.weathertech.com/toyota/2017/tacoma/side-window-deflectors/toyota-tacoma-cab/double-cab/

which is the same part number for the 2016:

Just received them yesterday. Installation was very quick no issues. Looks pretty good. Weathertech makes a fine product.IMG_20170112_094520.jpg IMG_20170112_094512.jpg IMG_20170112_094507.jpg

LOL.... It was so wrong you were right. Thanks for the good eye. I actually did tested them, but i guess when a clip fell out I took the wrong visor out and didn't pay attention to it compare to the clip inserts ahahaha.

I had ocd ever since i seen the post and redid it in 35 degree weather outside.
