Preview of cheap winter mod numero uno. (Plug the welding for dummies book. I am a newbie at best, trying to get to amateur status)

The plan is to flock my ugly brown dasboard with this kit. I bought it a while ago. $50 or something like that.
I got the idea from these guys I watch on the youtubes
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2BnfI8LLAk
If done right it looks absolutely incredible.
    Kit was bought here

Ill be doing a proper writeup once I get it done. Gott clean up this Build/BS thread

Well I almost got this big girl back together. But my lower coil bolts were looking sketchy so I got some coming in tomorrow from Toyota with fresh washers and nuts too.

    It looks pretty though.

Rob do you have the Wheelers SS front brake lines?
I have the Extended SS lines from the guy here on TW that sells them wondering if I will have any issues with connecting them to my Tundra calipers?

Yea I have the wheelers. They connected without issue straight to the caliper. Im not sure how yours are built but if the ones you got are connector to the fluid bot (eyelet) you should have an issue. The threadings for tacoma to tundra brakes are the same.

(This eyelet thing)^ I cant remember technical terms

Yup mine look just like that...but heard you may have to drill hole in the bolt that threads into the caliper, the one securing the line

Wheelers sends a bolt and washers with their lines that have the hole in it already...guess I will find out when I take my current ones off

Oh gotcha yea its a special bolt thats how the fluid goes to the caliper unless your caliper is a different design. If you got the 13WLs should be the fluid feed bolt style

NP glad you finally got some tundys shipped to you! Couldnt hurt to check oreileys im sure the have it. For reference tell them you have a 2005 tundra otherwise you have to do the annoying back and forth where they tell you that shit wont work on your tacoma! been there.. almost smacked the orileys guy. :anonymous:

The big baby was helping me out today too. Need to find/ make some steps for him and make a platform in the back of the cab so he can come on trips with me.
    Hate leaving him at home.

Just a tad, 1/4 turn per side just to sit it level. They had it set pretty close to the height my leaf springs are at
