I have a j shift t-case that came off a w59 transmission, does anyone know if it will bolt on to an A340e transmission. Both are off a 2.7 4 cylinder but one is manual and one is auto!

Nothing will bolt to your A340E with out an adapter or output shaft swap. A third option is to use a complete A340F. Regarding your T-case here is what I had bookmarked. I don't know if it helps.

    I don't have a lot on the 2.7L 4cyl since mine is a v6. has more info than I.

Swaping to a Manual transmission he had a Auto transmission T-case left over.

"I used the 5speeds transfer case because the auto has a different spline count and the shift forks where wrong."
So to answer your question his w59 T-case did not fit his A340F.
