my 2008 Tacoma has day time running lights and I was wondering if someone on here could help me get them working with my switch back LEDs I ordered. Anyone else figured this out?

if you bought the switch back it should come with resistors. if not I think autozone has them. I had a tapper so I instead of splicing the wire its was one of those tappers where you put the dtlr wire in one end and resistor on the other end and clamp them down and done

Snap my bad guys if I remember correct if your dtrl works or has that option on your truck. Like says daytime or dtrl then it should work but my buddy's truck his 09 doesn't have that written on his so he couldn't do it on his truck but I think there is a relay for it I hope someone on tw with 08 would chime in. 20170114_215254.jpg

This is what you need to crimp your resister to your blinker lightScreenshot_20170114-215513.jpgthe one on the left goes on resister the right goes on your wire harness for the blinker bulb. It's a tight squeeze but do able. Once u get the right on to the wire everything else is a breeze

My 08 doesn't have that drl option. I saw on another thread that someone with a 1strong gen ran a wire from their fusebox into the 3rd hole on the drl sockethe to get their switchbacks to work. I've got tappers, resistors, and fuse adapters. I'm now stumped because I'm not sure which wires need to be tapped in order for the white LED to come on

@bqnguyen07 try returning it or selling your switchback kit but before that I would check out VLEDs.com they have the switch back and I would contact them and see if it will work on the 08 Tacoma because I know that 08 and up to 2012 they don't have that option of drl like as pictured. and they might have a relay that comes with it or something. but other than that bro I have nothing else I can find to help out sorry
