I bought my Tacoma in the summer of 2015. It is a green 2014, access cab, TRD Off-Road six speed. It had a little less than 12,000 miles on it and was in like new condition. It still doesn't have even a door ding in it. I know it will some day and I won't freak out when it happens but I still park as far away from stores as I can.
I still have my old '98 T-100 with over 260,000 miles on it and it has been a great truck. When I was thinking about replacing it, I used to visit the Toyota website and 'build' the Tacoma I would one day own. I built this EXACT truck. When the day came that my wife and I started my search, we found this one at Newbold in O'Fallon, Illinois. As you all know, they hold their resale value like no other. When I was haggling with the dealer, I said that I could buy a brand new one for about $3,000 more but I wanted the green. It's just absolutely gorgeous, especially in the bright sun. He said, "We can put you in a new one!". We left that day and I told him that if he would take my offer, give me a call. He also asked me if 'I had done my research'. I had and knew that this was probably about as good as I would find if I wanted that specific truck.

The next day, I was replacing a CV boot on the old T and my wife stepped out into the garage and said we should go back and buy the Taco. We did. They came down another thousand and we drove it home.

Since then, I've never seen another one in that exact configuration.....until yesterday. We went for a drive to look for Bald Eagles and came across one. I pulled in and talked to the gentleman briefly. After we drove away, I decided to go back and take a picture.

This is at the intersection of 127 and 161 north of Nashville, Illinois. If any of you know the area, just west of there, near the Kaskaskia River, Bald Eagles nest and can be seen pretty regularly, especially when the river is flooded and frozen in the winter. We saw four that day, the closest one about 3 miles from our house.

Just thought I'd share. Mine is the near one, mostly stock with a 2 1/2" spacer lift.
