    Man, this idea took me a while to come up with. There is just no room in these trucks for external speakers for CB/HAM. I have the Kenwood KES5 speaker and it's big. I finally took it apart and mounted it in the rear seat perch and just used the grill vs. the whole enclosure. I think it came out good. Now out of the way and nice and loud!!

    I know this is an older-than-dirt-thread from a search result but is it really that much louder? I have my midland mounted above the kick panel and I can hardly hear it with road noise. This seems even farther away. I was researching to maybe mount something over my seatbelt right by my ear lol
