Walmart has Ozark Trail 4-person tents for $25 and a Coleman (similar to yours) 4-person for $50.
I'll probably get the Coleman because I trust the brand, but also used an Ozark for about 5 years for backpacking in the Scouts without issue.

I know my friends also have spare tents at our camper site up in Peebles, OH at Mineral Springs Lake. I think we're going up next weekend if weather holds, I'll ask to borrow one if possible. There's really no need in me buying one since it most likely won't get used much.

 

Does anyone normally air down their tires at these meets? It's mostly mud and dirt, yes? Trying to decide if I want to try and install an onboard compressor in the next month or so.

 

Yes. But most of us have compressors, so i wouldn't worry about unless you really want to do a set up.

 

The best shitting in the woods is when you can find a downed tree to sit on and hang your ass over the backside. Always look for poison oak/ivy/sumac and snakes on the leeward side of the log though.

 

lol. i was just in Academy sports and saw a toilet seat that clips over a 5 gal bucket. Wife said that is much preferred to hovering over the abyss in those outhouse style places.

they make some that sets up with a trash bag underneath. I'd leave the trash bag off, dig a small hole under the seat, then put the moved dirt back on top after I'm finished

Somewhere I have a picture that shows it attached to the side of a self propelled howitzer.....When I was in the Army, we took a Samsonite folding chair, cut a hole in the seat (about 8" diameter) and strapped it to a handrail. Low buck shitter.....
