SOLVED: After putting some super lube between the washers and bushings on the UCA's the sound has almost completely disappeared.

Been dealing with a terrible creaking/clunking sound coming from my front suspension. Here is a video of what it sounds like going over a speed bump and also some pictures of the setup. While I was looking at the pics I noticed the sway bar looks like it may be getting rubbed on by the coil springs. Would that result in a sound like this?

All suggestions welcome, please disregard the salt all up in my wheel wells.

Swaybar. 4 bolts and 2 nuts to pull it and confirm.

We did but I put it back on about a month later. I'll have to pull it off again real quick and see if that fixes it.

Oh. Yeah pull it and see. If that's not it is don't know. I would have to hear it in person to really diagnose where it's coming from

Not the sway bar. It's got to be the UCA's. Is it safe to loosen the bolts a little while under load? Thinking maybe I'll get some spray lube and see if I c an get enough in there without having to remove them completely.

I got the exact set up and have the same issue. Mine is on the passenger side. It's annoying and thing I'm gunna get ome shocks. I found that the rubber washer on the driver is smashed down and the passenger is loose so I think when the shock goes up it moves.

    Who did your install?

Icon. I've had the lift on since March of last year and the noise started about a month ago. It was very random at first but in the last week or so it's progressed to that horribly obnoxious level. I think it might be the big steel washers sliding/rotating against the spec ride bushing.

A handful of us guys from TW did the install. I know everything was installed correctly.

    Yeah same with mine.

It's like my driver side was set in right but the passenger is not. It looks right and everything is torqued down but I can spin the rubber washer. Soooo I know that's were the noise is coming from. I've sprayed some lube and it went away but week later it was back.

You certainly need that drop bracket to help with clearance but I doubt that's your problem with the sound. I just fixed mine. It was just as I thought. The washers were binding up against the bushings. As the arms articulated, it would spin the washers which rubbed so hard against the bushings it made the sound. Take the nut off and tap the bolt slightly out to free up the opposite side washer. Clean them up and grease the shit out of them. Put it back together and torque the nut to 85 foot pounds. My noise was 20 times worse than yours and it's gone now.

Good to know! Thanks for the info. From snowtanks' post above looks like I should be safe to do that under load correct?

And just to make sure, this is the bolt and washers you are referring to? (pic stolen from your build thread :D )
