so I got my leaf spring replaced on my 06 Tacoma like around 4 months ago due to the recall for the leaf spring

one of the things that was abvious about them was a nasty squeaky sound coming from the right side leaf spring . Every time I would get in and out of the truck and come to a stop.

Well after they replaced it went away. But about 2 weeks ago the squeaking sound came back in the same side and spot to. I called Toyota talked to my service adviser told her what was going on and she told me they would have to charge me to check it out!!
I even told her , even if the leaf spring got replace because there was a recall on them and she said yes. I feel like I shouldn't pay if it's obvious it's the leaf spring.
Was she trying to rip me off? Anybody out there work for Toyota service department and tell me if they have a right to charge me .. I was thinking of just showing up with no appointment and seen if they would check it out and repair it for free.

What's the point of the recall and replacing your leaf spring if there still gonna give u issue .

Mine were replaced about 3 or 4 months ago also. They were quiet until I went hunting once, clay/sand got in them and now they squeak when I get in/out the truck. I would think Toyota should look at them no charge but, I doubt they will do anything to fix the squeak.
