    Hi,

please forgive right off the noob question. So i just returned from my trip to moab and feel like the default suspension for my off road 2016 while did ok, wasn't great and lacked versatility i was looking for, i am doing research however so much info is out there that becomes so lost with all, so kinda looking for basic help maybe or direction to go to for my suspension changes.

Couple of things upfront about my driving etc, i am more of overlander drivers than pure rock climber, so look more for ability to hit trails but yet have vehicle drive able on normal roads, i mostly take trails that are up to level 5 and so far stock has been ok, but seems to be to soft and bouncy when it comes to trails.

so here are the problems i am trying to address and need help/pointers with. my rear leafs think need to be upgraded as i noticed when we loaded up with all the gear and rtt and water/fuel, i could tell truck sagged bit bit and lost some clearance, we weighted load about 400+ pounds of gear, so my question is would i need full set of new heavy duty leafs or just add additional leaf? i seen alot of info dakkars and interested what it takes or how the spec's work i don't want to make my rear to stiff but do definitely want to have ability to carry gear, any recommendations? or any upgrade to leafs is basically better than oem leafs?

i would like to upgrade tire size not sure if i want to go full 285 but 275 for sure currently have KO02 on 265/70/17, however from all research i found definitely wont fit due rubbing on control arm etc. so i been looking at ICON's stage 1 or stage 2 for install both front and rear, however do you need to offset tires for these or with the lift the rubbing issue gets resolved? and do you need to do any cutting changing of the front wheel well? or 285 is preferred and something i should shoot for if so what lift etc would go best for this type of setup.

Anyone has icon's installed any pro's cons like them or not? easy install or have shop install? any recommendations to whom to buy from, any shops you guys can recommend?

@HeadStrong Off-Road - My favorite place to buy from hands down

    1) get your budget together
    2) needs and wants
    3) give them a call

I would replace your Leafs with heavy duty packs to help with all the added weight from gear
