I was being a bit facetious about his abilities. While he has never actually welded sliders, he does have a home shop and has quite a bit of experience welding. That being said, he is my little brother (by about 16 years, but out weighs me by about 30 pounds) if he füks up my truck I may have to kick his arse.

Yea, I appreciate the concern. We'll see how well he does. I'm trying to get him to go with me to the LBL meet, so hopefully, he'll get to see them tested first hand.

Good call! Those will be strong as shit. I've got the HREW and I've been happy with them so far. I've only taken one good hit on them but they've paid for themselves just from that one hit.

 

It's not stock it's got OME on it right now. I'm gonna leave it like that while I have my icons rebuilt should be ready for LBL

Rebuild them yourself. It's pretty easy and I can walk you through it. Save some money and learn something

Yea, it was pretty boring. I liked it because a vendor took the time and actually tested and illustrated that his product works.

Yeah fa sho. DOM is slight overkill for what your truck will likely see but never caution on the weaker side. Ask Jeremy about how that went for him ....

 

I'll look into pricing on parts. I'm all about saving $ and learning something. lol

 

Icon may be different because they are "special" but $20ish per shock for all the seals, $50 for a jug of shock oil and if you want to change the shim stack, 12 per shock @ $1 each. Make sure to call someone who offers a TW discount and talk to someone competent. I recommend Downsouth Motorsports and talk to Micah
