Given the variability in options for fuel based on octane, ethanol content and suppliers, data logging can help identify reasons why you're feeling a difference in surging/hesitation and more recently as I've found, throttle responsiveness.

    I have the following adapter:

Using this (or another) adapter with Torque Pro, you can setup data logging, identifying variables that you want to look at (be careful how much you pull in, as polling rate will decrease the more values you log)

Here are the settings I'm using for what to log and the logging options. I've read you must acknowledge the webserver location and e-mail address to get the logging to initiate, though you don't have to log into the web server to get the log files.

After set, you can manage the logging by stopping/starting it, clearing the log files or e-mailing the files to yourself.

You'll likely want to use a .csv format and below is an example of the log file. To note, I was logging way too much below and the polling rate is much too slow to be of any real help.

There are more robust logging options that I'm not using presently that you may also find worthwhile. Give it a shot.
