I recently purchased new tires, rims, and suspension for my Taco. I never checked the air on my tires I just took the word of the shop and assumed they were good to go. Well a couple days ago my front passenger tire looked low. I went to check the pressure and add air to the tires. The problem I have is that the tires themselves say 80PSI. That can't be right?? How much air should I be putting in these tires? They are 265 75 16 Mud Terrains off Ebay. The brand is Kapsen.

80 is the max PSI rating.

You're probably good at 32-34 PSI, but a chalk test would confirm what is the best PSI for your truck and your tires. YouTube can demonstrate.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I don't understand how that can be confusing...

If you want to follow Toyota (those sound stock height) you can probably get away with what is printed on the sticker inside the driver's side door jam.

265/70s are the biggest stock tires, so the door pressure sticker isn't entirely accurate with his 265/75s.

More so if his truck had 245/75s originally, but I think all TRDs are 265/70 and the SR5 and base 4x4/Prerunner trucks are 245/75.

Thanks I appreciate it. Will going with the what the sticker says give me the best mpg? I just was confused when the tires said 80PSI. That seems way too high.

Actually, 70-80PSI will give you the best MPG. The ride will have the quality of the Flintstone's rig though.

You'll also trade all that money saved in MPG for burning through he middle of your tires in no time... And the ever-present possibility of blow out...
