i own a 1996 4runner, lifted on 33s and was a great time until a buddy of mine while trying to teach her standard flipped it on a logging road.

lesson for me there with trusting other people!
anyways, mechanically the truck ran other then a cracked rad. but the shell is crumpled, what used to me a mint body now became a tin canupload_2016-10-16_22-28-30.jpg

So I picked up 1998 ram 2500 axles for 200$ since I'm starting on the rear of the 4runner I prep up the rear axle
    Flushed the axle
    Axle seals
Repacked all the bearing with a light amount of grease
Cleaned all the old mounts off etc
Filled up the axle with synthetic oil
    New gasket
    Pretty much ready for installIMG_0347.jpgIMG_0348.jpg

So axle ready for mounts and brackets I remove everything from under the ass end of the runner.

Get my hands on a torch set and go to town

I still have to grind all the little bits of metal that's left after torching.
Now I'm just contemplating weather to go out and buy hangers and perches or trying my best to fab a set up?!IMG_0406.jpg

All of the little things so far haven't been too expensive but I know it's going to start getting worse real quick because I have no wheels and tires, no lockers, low gears...

Alright i could use some input from someone, id like to buy a hanger and shackle kit for the chevy 63's and i live in canada so price is a pain in the ass because duty and the dollar is shit. i have seen lowrange offroad and ruffstuff specialties, i think all pro does on aswell. is there stuff i can do to void buying this stuff from a off road parts dealer or should i bite the bullet and buy it

Got factory spring perches for the Dana 60 last night. Will be tearing old bushings out of the leafs tonight, then measuring up for new bushings. Haven't decided on shackle size yet though, thinking 6"

I pulled the over loads off, new leaf bolt, had to drill out the axle perches I bought to a 9/16 to fit the new bolts. Getting everything lined up. Grinded more of the frame clean underneath... it's on going because it's a Pain in the ass

I tacked the front hangers in, I laid the weight of the truck down. This is at ride height. And how far back the axle is going to be to help with the longer wheel base plan
