That's awesome. I installed the smart phone mirroring system to my factory and it displays my phone screen. Turn on some Netflix or Hulu and there you go. Not sure if others have seen this but it works amazing. I highly recommend if you don't want to purchase a whole new unit. This unit looks great tho! I will post some pics at some point too.

I did the TRD exhaust tip and painted it black with the VHT High temp spray paint can. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Had my original tip cut and then welded on the new tip. Again, would definitely recommend it.

Relentless bed rail mounts. Takin them to work to sandblast, zinc coat then primer, and I'll shoot with bedliner sprayIMG_0405.jpg

Good morning guys, I did mention to Bob at CnC off-road that maybe this set of gears was also faulty before he opened it up yesterday. He said they are different set of gears completely from the rears and very unlikely they would also bad. Anyways according to his pictures and his comment they look fine and are set up perfect . Still don't know how he's going to take the drive shaft off and see if that helps, how are you going to drive in 4-wheel drive without the drive shaft?

I think he wants to see if the noise is coming from another source. But as you said, works fine in 2wd so I don't know :notsure:

Im at 13,457 miles. Not one single issue. Just had to put a little silicone on door seals as they creaked a little in single digit temps

Ok I think I know why after thinking about it. With it in 4wd without the drive shaft, the front diff should still engage with the actuator but won't be driven by drive shaft. That will telll him if drives shaft angle is causing noise. However, that may eliminate the drive shaft but the front diff won't be under any load? Meaning it could still be something if it returns with shafts in??

Just wondering how you like these now that you've had them for a little while ... i know the light is a whiter color than the stock halogen bulbs BUT how is the actual throw of the light down road ... do they cast the light out as far as the halogens did? Can you actually see better? OR do they just look alot cooler cause they're whiter? I have the Philips x-treme vision bulbs and like them alot ... i am guessing these are similar

Off topic fellas just needed some input.
Im currently at 4,932 miles on my 2017. I called my nearest dealership to inquire about my 5k oil change.

The lady over the phone sounded pissy asking if I purchased the vehicle from them. I states no. I wanted to come to my nearest dealership and not drive an hour away.

Next thing she says well your next scheduled maintenance will just pop up early on your vehicle since you aren't at 5k yet.

My question: is there any truth to what she's saying or f**k that dealership and take it somewhere else?

    Thanks!

Put White Tacoma letters into the glovebox badge to match the outside and created a poor man's ($5) TRD knob while I was at it. Came with 3 extra sets in case they peel off, but they're actually pretty solid and in a spot where my hand never touches them.
